The Old Beacon Club once stood on Holbrook Avenue where the flag raising is conducted each Fourth of July (the flagpole still stands). The building was moved in two pieces to its current location on Fitzpatrick Way in 1939 and became the Hull Yacht Club after a major dredging and filling project created Mariners' Park. The turnbuckles holding the two halves of the building together can still be seen in the yacht club rafters.
Hill Crest Road no longer exists. This appears to be Bluff Road now.
The Nautilus Inn and the Atlantic Club once stood at the base of the bluff overlooking Allerton Cove.
